20 Minutes de Chaos is a band playing kind of crusty-punk-hardcore-metal, call it as you want anyway. It is Do It Yourself for sure. Based in Dijon/France, the band exists under this name since early 1997. 20 Min. de Chaos knew many splits, breaks and line-up changes during this time. This page won't expose the full story of the band, its aim is that you could download songs for free. No copyrights, do what you want with it, except money! December, 27th 2011 :
Let's give some fresh news about us now that we're nearing the end of a year filled with revolts worldwide and growing indignation...
We did only a few concerts in the past 5 months because the aim was to record a full album by the end of the year. So, we did lock ourselves up in the cellar and came out on the 18 th December only to head on to Belgium, at the Majestic Studio in Hever. We got out of there on the 23rd, with 13 songs, 256 photos, lots of sleepless hours and fun too. We hope the LP will be out in May 2012, time for us to mix the songs and design a nice sleeve. We'll probably post one or two songs on our website in the meantime. We would like to warmly thank Nico for his patience and hard work in the studio.
We'll gladly play gigs here and there before touring in October 2012, feel free to contact us!
We are also getting ready for the next Maloka festival in May in Les Tanneries (which will be the last in the current place before we move to a new one). It will last 3 days (check out the Maloka website for details) and 20 minutes de chaos will be part of it of course!

July 2011 :
Guillaume has left the band since June and Boris has taken his place on the bass. Boris had already played with Cyrille and Elo in DTC, a Dijon A-punk band from 2007 to 2010 which has not released anything but played some concerts here and there.
So Boris is actually working hard on his bass to be ready for our next gig on July ,29 and to record the new album at the end of the year. We won't play any gig before we have finished recording since we have to practice a lot!
Other than that, we are busy negociating our moving from Les Tanneries to another space in a different part of Dijon. Please check Maloka and Les Tanneries websites (see links) for more information and see how you can help and support us.

Now 20 minutes of chaos is back for real! Our two guitar heroes have taken to creating new songs so we could resume rehearsing and working on new pieces. The aim was to be ready for the 31^st october gig, we made it so we're not going to stop ! Juli played her last gig with us in Nancy on November 1^st , we wish her good luck for her future and present projects, and we'll miss her a lot... Well, that's the story of 20 minutes's life! Now, that makes Elo and Nofun singing, backed by Guillaume on chorus, Cyrille is still on drums.
An album should be coming out in 2011 and we are ready to play live again anytime, so don't hesitate to get in touch!
In the meanwhile, stay free and reMayn vigilant!

Hi! Eh, what's up? Are you guys gonna split and reform the band every now and after? Well, looks like it! Playing at the Maloka festival in May 2008 in Dijon made us feel like we wanted to carry on for a little longer! So here we are again with a couple of gigs ahead of us (check this site for the dates) and a great desire to play as loud and mad as possible. The only drawback is that we've lost our bassist on the way. We thank him for the great job we did with him during all those years of Chaos and also for keeping this webpage alive! Cheers mate! Well, now 20 minutes de chaos are still Elo and Juli singing, Nofun playing the guitar, Cyrille at the drums and Guillaume has swapped his guitar for the bass. We wish you the best in your life of struggle!
